“Raise Up Your Eyes with Emma Back” in an evening of multi-instrumental performance and community engagement that investigates how to heal personal and global conflict through bearing witness to issues of feminine power, racial and religious oppression, war and ancestry. Back will present this performance at the Arcata House Concert Series “Crib Concerts” on Wednesday July 11th. Doors and potluck are at 6pm, concert at 7pm. Hailing from the rural hills of Vermont, Back brings her Avant-Folk, Live-Looping multi-instrumentalism and years of vocal and violin training to engage communities in dialogues of darkness and transformation through a series of songs and reflections from her debut album Little World (released May 24th 2018).
