Prairie Creek BioBlitz for California Biodiversity Day
September 7th is California Biodiversity Day, an annual tradition that started just last year. This year, State Parks will be hosting a Bioblitz at Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park from 8am - 4pm with Redwood Parks Conservancy and the National Parks Service. Join natural resource experts in a mad dash to identify species using the iNaturalist App and help us capture a snapshot of biodiversity in the park! Registration opens at 8am for off site day trips, orientation starts at 9am, and the official BioBlitz begins at 10am.
