Perch'n on the Peninsula Fishing Tournament and Fish Fry
"SO YOU THINK YOU CAN FISH?" Samoa Peninsula Fire District welcomes you to come on out to the 8th Annual Perch'n on the Peninsula Fish Tournament and Fish Fry Fundraiser. Whether you are an avid fisherman or don't fish at all, this family based event offers fun for everyone. This year’s event will consist of a perch fishing tournament followed by an amazing all you can eat fish fry, thousands of dollars in raffle prizes to win, games for the family to play, and cotton candy, because who doesn't love cotton candy? Proceeds from this event directly benefit SPFD volunteer firefighters to new equipment, maintaining equipment and provide trainings for all our volunteers. This event is Saturday April 8th from 12-5 pm at the Peninsula School, 909 Vance Ave. Samoa, CA 95564. If you are a fisherman, fishing opens day of the tournament and weigh in is at 2 pm at Peninsula School. Signups will be available at the locations listed in the flyer until April 6th. In addition online signups will be available until 10 pm on April 7th. Come on out and show us how "YOU CAN FISH!"
