Paint the Town and Night Market
The Creamery District is inviting our community to join local artist Haley Davis at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug 25th to paint her original design at the intersection of 8th and L in the Creamery District in Arcata. Everyone is invited to grab a brush and join in the fun and Haley will be on hand to guide the way. Free family friendly event.
At 4 p.m. the Night Market will start with music from the Pan Dulce Steel Orchestra, local artists, a beer garden, live music, vendors and food. Of course our local studios and businesses will be open until 9pm: Seapod, Bang! Bang!, Birdman Ceramics, Phoenix Ceramics, MK Studios, The Back Porch and The Good Collective will be open for business. Redwood Raks is having a Fusion Partner Dance with a lesson at 7 p.m. and dancing at 8 p.m. Wrangletown Cidery will be pouring their famous Hard Ciders and fine wines, and Jefferson Ale House will be giving sneak peeks at their new space.
