Paddle Out for Racial Justice
What: Memorial Paddle Out - In support of racial justice and in memory of Black & Brown people killed at hands of police When: Sunday, June 14 - arrive at 8:30 for a 9am paddle out Where: Twaya’t (Wiyot place name for the North Jetty area at the end of the Samoa Peninsula, near the Coast Guard Station) Who: Everyone is welcome - all non-motorized watercraft encouraged. For safety reasons, we’ll be paddling out in the bay, not in the ocean. We’ll have a few speakers before we paddle. People who don’t want to paddle can show their support from the beach.
