Oyster Festival 2016
The 2016 Arcata Bay Oyster Festival is Saturday June 18 (the day before Father's Day). Fun, Food and Frolic in the Oyster Capital of California, on the Historic Arcata Plaza. Savor fresh oysters and other culinary treats from dozens of chefs. Local music will satisfy your soul you as you sample all kinds of local craft beer, wine and hard cider. We'll have something for the whole family, including a kid's area, Oyster Calling & Shuck n' Swallow Contests, Best Oyster Contest, a Crafts Fair, fine art, and an expanded Oyster Fest Gift Shop. Please LEAVE YOUR DOG AT HOME, and no bottles or alcohol can be brought onto the Plaza. Again, no fence and no entry fee! Stayed tuned for more details!
