Opioids in Humboldt County: What Nurses Need to Know
It’s Nurses Night Out! Join nursing colleagues and health care professionals in an evening learning about Opioids in Humboldt County- what is happening in our community, how to help in this crisis, and explore some of the resources. Join us on November 2 from 5:30-8:30p at the Hospice of Humboldt in Eureka. Gathering and networking will start at 5:30, followed by dinner at 6:30 and discussion about opioids in our county, exploring some of the resources to manage pain, learn about the partnerships that have come together to address the use opioids, and how nurses can help the patient management and safety. We will have a fundraiser raffle for several local items. Enjoy connecting with fellow nurses while learning about this wide spread community crisis. This opportunity is being brought to you by the Nursing Honor Society in Humboldt County. Dinner $20.00 (general) including dessert, $15.00 for members, and $5.00 for students. CEUs available.
