North Jetty to Fairhaven Birding Trip
Redwood Region Audubon Society is sponsoring this free public field trip on the North Spit. Meet leader Rob Fowler at 7 a.m. at the G St parking lot for the Arcata Marsh Interpretive Center to carpool. The group will start early at the north jetty to look for seabirds and rocky shorebirds, and then will proceed to search willow patches and a Fairhaven pasture for fall migrant land birds. Scopes are recommended for watching off the jetty.
