New Origin Release: Guest Speaker Emily Stone
Come join us at the Dick Taylor Chocolate factory to hear about the impact cacao has had on the Arhuacos People of Northern Colombia. It is a moving and powerful story of how a people group has begun to tap back into their traditions and ancestry through cacao. We have invited Emily Stone from Uncommon Cacao (based in Berkeley, CA) to talk about the Arhuacos People and the fantastic cacao they produce. Emily works directly with the farmers that grow and ferment this exceptional bean, and has first-hand insight to the processes that unfold at origin. You will also be invited to taste our newest limited release bar made with this delicious cacao from Colombia. Owner Adam Dick will speak about the methodology and thought that went into making this bar, and how we at Dick Taylor Chocolate have tried to show-off its complexities with our recipe and process. Each attendee will get to enjoy some pairings we have personally put together highlighting the Colombian chocolate, as well as 20% off all purchases of our new Limited Release 78% Colombia.
