Mushroom Walk

Join an experienced Friends of the Dunes naturalist for a guided Mushroom Walk at the Ma-le'l Dunes North unit of the Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge. This is home to diverse coastal habitats, including freshwater marsh, saltwater marsh, dune forest, and large moving sand dunes.

Meet at the Ma-le'l North parking lot, to get there turn west onto Young Lane from Samoa Blvd. (HWY 225) and follow the road north past the gun club.
