“A Humboldt based DJ/producer & Ableton Live junkie whose enthusiastic efforts in mixing surely leads the dance floor thru a rhythmic journey. Using multiple genres, tempos, and decades of music his sets are always mixed in true harmonic fashion. “I love making complex mash ups. I use Ableton Live to divide hundreds of songs into 1 , 2, and 4 bar samples. Once separated I love to edit the samples and sculpt sets together almost like a jig saw puzzle. I like making tracks dance with one another”. Inspiration for Chris comes from all around, “I feel blessed to be the first generation to have literally every single song, movie clip, nature sound speech etc at my finger tips”, and it shows! Chris the winner of Humboldt’s first Battle Of The Bass says “my music isn’t original but my sets are exclusive”. One thing for sure is in an EDM world of predictability iBeats sets are always unpredictable.”

“Angel Rubio-Hale AKA ONHELL is a 21 year old producer and promoter, influencing, playing and raging the Northern California party scene. Equipped with vintage synthesizers, cutting edge production tools and a drive for experimentation, he has perfected a signature multi-dimensional sound that can not be contained within any one genre. Like a sonic kaleidoscope, his songs infuse elements of future down-tempo, R&B, modern hip hop, and spacey psychedelic ambiance. ONHELL’s sets of music run deep with hard hitting tonality, maintain a flowing diversity, and are known to contagiously move crowds on the dance floor. ONHELL has toured the west coast and opened up for artists such Eprom, Grenier, Groundislava, Buku, Russ Liquid, Chrome Sparks, G Jones, Mad Zach, Bleep Bloop, DNAE Beats, Cestladore, and more.
