Move Marie Political Prisoner Letter Writing
Come send postcards to the Director of the Federal Bureau of Prisons to request that imprisoned environmental activist Marie Mason is transferred to a lower security prison facility that is closer to her family. Marie Mason has received the longest prison sentence to date for environmental related vandalism. This includes damaging a an office where GMO research data was held. She was sentenced to nearly 22 years in FMC Carswell prison in Forth Worth, Texas. Marie has been a long time environmental activist and labor rights organizer. We will also be sending birthday cards to political prisoners who have their birthday's in the month of April. This includes Mumia Abu Jamal and members of the MOVE 9. Food and postage supplies will be provided.
