Monthy Afterschool Crafternoons
SCRAP Humboldt invites young makers and creators to attend SCRAP’s monthly Crafternoons! On the first Wednesday of each month, from 3:30p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for an affordable fee of $5.00, youth eight years old and up, are invited to work on different creative reuse projects using repurposed materials. Crafternoons begin Wednesday, October 1st and are held SCRAP Humboldt’s creative education studio, The (Re)Workshop, 101 H Street Arcata. Crafternoons will be focused on the creative reuse of a variety of material types (fabric, wood, plastics, metal) through the exploration of various tools and skills. Crafternoon projects have been developed by SCRAP Humboldt’s Education Program Coordinator, Patti Johnson.
