The folkgrass Americali duo Melody Walker & Jacob Groopman return to the Arcata Playhouse on Friday, March 7. It is their first time back in over a year and what a year it has been! From winning the MerleFest songwriting contest and the Telluride band contest, to making a new duo album produced by Grammy-winning bluegrass legend Laurie Lewis, they have been traveling non-stop and tightening their chops all over the realm. This show is their official Humboldt CD release party for their recent release "We Made It Home"! Lauren Norgeot (also formerly of AkaBella) opens the show with a set of her originals.
