McKinleyville Land Trust Annual Dinner

The McKinleyville Land Trust (MLT) invites the public to attend its thirteenth annual dinner and fundraiser at Azalea Hall in McKinleyville on Saturday evening, March 8. The menu features chicken cacciatore or baked eggplant, both with pasta, Tomaso’s sauce, fresh mixed green salad, bread from the North Coast Co-op Bakery, Ramone’s coffee or tea, and dessert. Local historian Jerry Rohde will present “South of School Road”, stories of McKinleyville and the Arcata Bottom. A silent auction, raffle, and brief update on MLT activities will also be included. No-host wine and beer bar starts at 5 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. Tickets are $25, and student or senior discounts are available. Tickets can be purchased at the door or by calling 839-LAND. The purpose of the McKinleyville Land Trust is to conserve local open space for ecological, historical, agricultural, educational, recreational and scenic values.
