McKinleyville Community Garden Open House
McKinleyville Community Garden at Pierson Park hosts an "Open House" event Saturday October 19 from 10am to 12pm at the garden, which is located in Pierson Park behind the preschool on Gwin Road, off Central Ave. Come celebrate a new kiosk/message board at the garden, enjoy light refreshments, converse with gardeners, get assistance applying for CalFresh (food stamps), and learn about gardening and food resources.
