Marine Protected Area Guided Walk
Do you ever wonder what lies below the crashing waves? Join California State Parks Interpreter Angie Edmunds for a free guided tour to one of our local Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) in honor of World Oceans Day! California’s MPAs are home to incredibly diverse marine life and the habitats essential to their survival. Come along to learn about what MPAs are, what they protect and how we can monitor their success. This walk will be held at Friends of the Dunes' Humboldt Coastal Nature Center, 220 Stamps Lane in Manila.
