Every winter, alone in the pitiless ice deserts of Anartica, a truly remarkable thing takes place as it has for millenia. Emperor Penguins by the thousands abandon the security of their ocean home and gather single file, to trek through the most inhospitable terrain on Earth blinded by blizzards and buffeted by the gale force winds.
