Laundry to Landscape/Greywater Workshop
Join the Humboldt Permaculture Guild for the third workshop of our Summer Series on August 18, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This workship will be held at Rainshine Permaculture Homestead and Nursery in Freshwater and the registration is $25.00 per person. In this hands on workshop attendees will learn how to install a complete laundry to landscape (L2L) greywater system. This workshop will demonstrate the simple plumbing modifications needed to divert this water into your soils. With no permit requirement in California for the L2L, this can be considered the low hanging fruit when it comes to greywater re-use. If you want to come to this workshop but have insufficient funds, we have two volunteer and three scholarship positions. Volunteers are asked to help out with various aspects of the workshop. Scholarships are available to those who can write a detailed explanation of why this workshop is important to them with examples of how they will benefit from it.
