Humboldt Symphony
Humboldt Symphony performs a holiday favorite, Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite in its 3 p.m. concert, the orchestra’s only concert at HSU this December. Other works include Brahm’s epic Academic Festival Overture, a portion of Copland’s classic Appalachian Spring Suite and all seven movements of Bartok’s lively Romanian Folk Dances. Conducted by Paul Cummings, featured players include HSU Music faculty members Cindy Moyer on violin and Karen Davy on viola.
