Humboldt Bay Paddlefest
Center Activities, the Humboldt Bay Aquatic Center and collaborating community organizations are proud to present the 9th Humboldt Bay Paddlefest! The waterways, estuaries, and salt marshes of Humboldt Bay are some of the most unique in the world and paddle recreation is one of the best ways to appreciate them. Paddlefest celebrates the beauty of Humboldt Bay bringing aquatic sports, local community members and organizations, and the HSU campus together for a day of fun and play on the bay! Take a kayak or SUP basic skills class, enjoy a land clinic or the family paddle tour, compete in the channel and cardboard kayak fun races, and enjoy free equipment rentals all while enjoying music, door prizes and food on the Eureka waterfront! New this year are Eco-tours provided by the Madaket, and Awareness Alley returns featuring presentations and displays from local environmental and community non-profit agencies. U.S. Coast Guard rescue craft will be available to tour 9am - 2pm. All skill levels and abilities are welcome! Please let us how we can accomodate you. Pre-registration for all clinics and tours is encouraged.
