Hula and Tahitian Dance Workshop
An inspiring Hula and Tahitian Dance workshop is coming to Humboldt County July 5, 2014. Kumu Hula Reynee Ipomoelana “Auntie Moe” Tanaka of Halau Keolaloa/Teoraroa ‘Ote’a from Hayward, CA will teach a workshop on modern and traditional Hula and Tahitian dance. This award winning Kumu Hula will guide students through the steps and motions that set Hula apart as a unique expression of culture, passion and Aloha. The Arcata Community Center will host the event from 9:30am-3:30pm on Saturday July 5th. Thanks to strong local family connections, this workshop is being offered at $45. per person.
