HSU Madrigal and MRT Jazz Singers
The Madrigal Singers perform solo selections from Elizabethan composer John Dowland accompanied by HSU alumnus Jason Hall on guitar, as well as other Renaissance music accompanied by John Chernoff on keyboards. In the concert’s second half, the Mad River Transit singers add an a cappella jazz group, the Syncopations, to their program of ballads, blues and swing accompanied by a three-piece rhythm section. Directed by Harley Muilenburg, produced by the HSU Music Department.
