How to Buy an Electric Vehicle
The Redwood Coast Energy Authority (RCEA) and the Greater Eureka Chamber of Commerce invite the public to a presentation titled, How To Buy An Electric Vehicle on Thursday June 13, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. RCEA Transportation Specialist Aisha Cissna will provide guidance about the different types of electric vehicles, financial incentives and assistance, fuel and maintenance savings, and charging options. There will be time for Q&A. The event is co-sponsored by the Eureka Chamber of Commerce and hosted at their new ‘Business HQ’ location, 612 G St., Suite 101 in Eureka. The Eureka Chamber and its members are active in issues related to energy efficiency, clean energy, and renewable energy investments. . . The goal of the RCEA’s Transportation Program is to support the use of low-carbon fuel vehicles in Humboldt County by planning, managing, and implementing the infrastructure necessary to support zero emissions vehicles. RCEA also provides information, education, and incentives to encourage the adoption of low-carbon fuel vehicles by local residents, businesses, and public agencies. RCEA, a local government Joint Powers Agency founded in 2003, develops and implements sustainable energy initiatives that reduce energy demand, increase energy efficiency, and advance the use of clean, efficient and renewable resources.
