Harry Potter Celebration
The Eureka Library is hosting a Harry Potter Celebration that will take place from 12 to 3 p.m. on Oct. 29, 2016 for children, teens and their families. Come get sorted into a House, make your own wand, and receive a dragon’s egg from Hagrid! Embark on a Harry Potter themed scavenger hunt, or Transfigure yourself using props in the photo booth. Humboldt State University’s Chemistry Club will be hosting Potions demonstrations throughout the afternoon. Finally, test your luck (no Felix Felicis potions allowed!) in the Goblet of Fire raffle, with prizes donated by a number of local businesses.
