Gruesome Playground Injuries
Humboldt State University students present the show that critics call “irresistibly odd and exciting” and a “wondrous strange two-hander [which] finds as much humor as horror in the play’s bizarre events”. This 110 minute one-act ‘rom-dram’ will force you to examine the relationship between two characters. No sappy underscore, no dramatic rain, just an honest and organic evaluation of what it means to be soulmates. We first see the two at age eight and continue following their relationship through a series of vignettes told non-chronologically in spans of five years until we last see them at age thirty-eight.
