Georgi Ivanovitch Gurdjieff: An Introduction to The Man, The Writings and the Work (Part 3)
Part 3 of a 3 Part Lecture series. Compiled and presented by Ryan Lee. Part 1 was about the man, Part 2 about what he taught. In Part 3 I will talk about how we can access the knowledge Gurdjieff shared with us, through his writings, and the writings of those he taught and who knew him.I will introduce you to Gurdjieff’s magnum opus, All and Everything : Beelzebub’s Tales to His Grandson : An Objectively Impartial Criticism Of The Life Of Man; PD Ouspensky’s compelling In Search Of The Miraculous, and a new book by Wim van Dullemen titled The Gurdjieff Movements : A Communication Of Ancient Wisdom. We will also look at the writings of those who knew him, who help us understand the man. The second half of the evening will be a potpourri of stories and other interesting information that slipped through the cracks in the previous lectures.
