Freshwater Farms Reserve Stewardship Sunday

 

Come join The Watershed Stewards Program and Northcoast Regional Land Trust in a BioBlitz extravaganza and restoration event. Volunteers will participate in a willow harvesting restoration project and learn how to collect information about the native and wild residents at Freshwater Farms Reserve using iNaturalist.

 

 

This is a FREE family fun event!!

 

 

WHEN: June 25th, 2017 10am-2pm
WHERE: Freshwater Farms Reserve, 5851 Myrtle Ave, Eureka CA 95503

 

 

This event will be showcased in a nationwide U.S Fish and Wildlife (USFW) video. Freshwater Farms was selected by the USFW Service’s Coastal Program as a site that blends agriculture, wildlife habitat restoration, recreation, environmental education, and land stewardship!

 

 

Food provided, yum!

 

 

Please bring a water bottle, sunscreen, hat, gloves and your dancing feet! We will be getting our boogey on and learning the BioBlitz Dance.

 

 

Smart Devices will be provided for the BioBlitz portion of the event.
