Free Latino Teen Health Educator Workshops!

Two information sessions will be offered for Latino youth interested in participating in a bilingual teen health educator workshop this summer. The information sessions will be July 15, 3-5 p.m. at the Multigenerational Center in Fortuna and July 17, 3:30-5:30 p.m. at the Ink People Center for the Arts in Eureka. Through the program, interested teens will be trained in health-related issues ranging from depression and mental illness to health and nutrition. This is a great way to explore health care careers and get community service credit. Sponsored by a grant from LAPSA through Scripps College in Claremont and local support from Open Door clinics and Planned Parenthood of northern California, all interested participants are invited to come by for free snacks and information!
