Free Guided Tour of McDaniel Slough
As part of the statewide Coastweeks celebration, Friends of the Arcata Marsh (FOAM) will sponsor a free special tour of the McDaniel Slough Wetland Restoration Project at the Arcata Marsh & Wildlife Sanctuary on Saturday. Meet leader Conor Shea of the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service at the first parking lot on South I Street in from Samoa Boulevard. [Please note this is a different location from the usual meeting place at the Interpretive Center on South G Street.]
