Fort Knox Five- have the midas touch for producing heavy hitting records. Since 2003, they have released an arsenal of floor rocking singles and remixes from their Washington DC based label, Fort Knox Recordings.
Sid Barcelona, Jon Horvath, Rob Myers and Steve Raskin are the masterminds behind the FORT KNOX FIVE. Their signature ‘Fort Knox Sound’ seamlessly interweaves live instrumentation with funky electronic breakbeats. In 2006 they released the critically acclaimed ‘The New Gold Standard’ to showcase the groundbreaking sounds from their premier funk and soul label.
As DJs, they know how to rock a party with infectious grooves that effortlessly move from funk, reggae, and hip-hop to prime time beats & breaks. Their unique DJ style has proven irresistible to clubgoers worldwide.
Comprised of the musical talents of Matt Madonna and Ryan Anderson, Love and Lighthails from the high desert region of the Reno/Tahoe Basin. Creating music that touches their hearts and elevates their souls, the duo’s goal is the uplifting of people across the world through melodic synth lines, complex chord structure, intricate rhythms, and funky, chunky bass lines. Though having a strong focus on midtempo bass music, their span of producing talents are limitless, crossing into the realms of melodic dubstep as well as half-time drum and bass and four-on-the-floor bangers. Using chunky hip-hop breakbeats and bouncy electro basslines as the foundation for organic expressions of world, reggae, folk, bluegrass and more, JPOD takes listeners on a diverse journey through styles and tempos, bridging gaps everywhere that inspiration leads.
