Fiesta de Mayo with Trinidad Coastal Land Trust
It’s Party Time with those crazy folk at the Trinidad Coastal Land Trust! The Trinidad Coastal Land Trust celebrates the coast, local art and the start of the summer season with its annual Fiesta de Mayo fundraising party during the first Trinidad Art Night on Friday, May 3rd from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at Trinidad Town Hall. Join the celebration and help support the Land Trust while enjoying music by The Sandfleas, great food, and art by Artists Who Surf. The party is free, with food and drink available for purchase —$10 fajita plates, oysters by the Oyster Lady, beer, wine and margaritas. Original works by Artists Who Surf will be on display at the event and at the Land Trust’s nearby Simmons Gallery. Featured artists include Matt Beard, Zack Stanton, James Bavin, Shawn Griggs, Seapod and many others. All proceeds benefit the Trinidad Coastal Land Trust projects and education programs, working to protect the iconic landscapes of the Trinidad Coast from Little River to Big Lagoon.
