Is it a tap Takeover? A Brewery showcase? A good night of drinking? Who cares, we have one of the most sought after Gypsy Brewer's Beers at The Local in all the most Evil ways. I know, i know, We got tired of hearing "tap takeover" too. What we didn't get tired of is getting you guys and girls the best beer we could find, and this month it comes in the form of EVIL TWIN BREWING! This isn't a publicity deal, it isn't someone telling us we should do an event. This is The Local Beer Bar bringing you beers we personally love and drink when we can get them. MOLOTOV COCKTAIL 13% ABV DBL IPA This beer will knock your tongue off, essentially due to the obscure amount of hops that went down this explosive fella – it’s a tour de force in hoppyness and by far the craziest beer ever made from Evil Twin – but not the last.
FEMME FATALE BRETT: 6% ABV IPA To take up the challenge and make a 100% true Brett beer can very easily become a fatal attraction for the Brewmaster. Ones you get acquainted with Bretts irresistible, seductive, alluring and very charming nature, it will ensnare you and drive you to the point of obsession to create the desirable tangy, funky, tart flavor in ya mouth.
FEMME FATALE BLANC: 6% ABV IPA w/ Nelson Sauvin Hops Once you get acquainted with Nelson Sauvin’s fruity and seductive personality, along with Bretts irresistible, overpowering, alluring and very charming nature, it will ensnare you and drive you mad obsessing over how exactly you can create the perfect desirable tangy, funky, crisp, tart flavor in ya mouth.
JUSTIN BlABAER: 4.5% ABV Blueberry Berlinnerweisse, Sour OMG! It's JUSTIN BLABAER!!! If you have "Blabaer Fever," then this is the only cure. We stuffed so many blueberries into this beer- it's going to make you shout, "Oh, Baby!"
IMPERIAL BISCOTTI BREAK: 11.5% ABV Imperial Porter, The Roman Empire had a certain “je ne sais quoi” festive food culture, extravagant architecture and spectacular live entertainment. Some might argue the Emperors were brutal, mad and hungry for power, and the people vain when taking baths and working out all day. Listen – that’s still all part of the secret Imperial ingredient – keep it cool, clean, confident, arrogant and flamboyant. Forza Imperiale
PLASTIC MAN: 5.5% ABV Farmhouse, Collaboration beer between Local Option, Westbrook, and Evil Twin
EVEN MORE JESUS: 12% ABV Imperial Stout, Few times in the history of craft beer it has happened that a highly praised beer rises beyond mortal stardom into a higher godly league. Usually the recipe to make such heavenly drops is thick fudge-like body, pitch black color, amazingly overwhelming aromas of chocolate, coffee, dark fruits and muscovado sugar, obviously only made in limited amounts and most crucial of all – it must taste rare!
LOW LIFE PILSNER: 5.5%ABV Pilsner, A clever woman once said; ’fair is foul and foul is fair’. On that note we threw in a young, unacknowledged hoppy pilsner, gave it a limp, wrinkly flavor and finished it off with an insulting high price that will give you a foul feeling in your mouth. That’s why we name Evil Twin Brewing’s Low Life the Golddigger of Beers.
YIN: 10.5% ABV Imperial Stout, This is one half of a Black & Tan. Not just any Black & Tan, but one where a toasted smug and hoppy fella get together to make a sublime Taiji balance. Mix the Yin & Yang together (or enjoy this profoundly evil Imperial Stout solo).
YANG: 10% ABV Imperial IPA, This is the other half.
LIL ' B : 11.5% ABV Porter, Shall one compare thee to a fair beer, Not even this perfect porter before thou will do thee justice. Thou art more complex, brave and cunning. Thou have changed more than a brew will ever. Thou may be lil’, but thy mind is greater than words can speak and beer will ever taste.
RON AND THE BEASTER BUNNY: Saison 7% In Denmark we have a lovely tradition for seasonal beer, and what you have here is certainly no exception. This is a never before seen collaboration between Ryan and the Beaster Bunny. A fluffy and precious Saison brewed on the beautiful island of Fanø on the west coast of Denmark. It may sound like a true fairytale, but don’t be fooled by it’s cute appearance
