Enough About Bees: Flies are Pollinators Too! by Michael Mesler

Michael has taught botany for more than 40 years and studies interactions between flowers and their pollinators. Flies are the second most common flower visitors in California, after bees, and some of the most beautiful native plants rely on flies for pollination. Michael will discuss these plants including slinkpods, tway-blade orchids, wild ginger, iris, and lewisia. Donations are appreciated.
