Earth Day Restoration and Cleanup at Sinkyone Wilderness State Park

On Saturday, April 21, 35 state parks across California, including Sinkyone Wilderness Park, will be the focus of California State Parks Foundation’s (CSPF) 20th Earth Day Restoration and Cleanup presented by Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E). More than 4,000 volunteers are needed to help with environmental improvement projects statewide. At Sinkyone Wilderness Park in Garberville (Humboldt), efforts that day will include converting a campsite to a camp host site and a slew of campsite improvements, including repairing the roof, flooring, and screens of the restroom, replacing the toilets, and clearing invasive ivy from forest trees.
