Complete Streets Workshop
The City of Eureka is initiating a new project to engage residents and local businesses in re-envisioning H and I Streets and potentially adjacent north-south routes to improve safety for all users and foster vibrant neighborhoods and business districts. The goal is to develop a multimodal plan for the main north-south streets in the city - J to E Streets from 6th Street to Harris Street with a focus on H and I Streets. The City of Eureka would like your input to improve safety for walking, biking and driving through this area at a Kick-Off Community Workshop. After a short presentation and open house to review project goals, small groups will help engineers and City staff understand the existing challenges, and suggest potential improvements to improve safety for all who travel these roadways.
