Community Science Seabird Monitoring Training

Join in with other Community Scientists and help us monitor seabirds, marine mammals, and human disturbance along the coast. Volunteer training starts up in March and will provide you with all you need to know to identify and count species that call the Trinidad Coast Home. No previous experience is necessary! Volunteers must attend one classroom training (held at the Trinidad Town Hall), one half-day field training session, and the data entry training. Once training is complete, volunteers are asked to conduct one survey per month from April to August. For more information, and to sign up please contact Carol at 707-677-2501 or carol@trinidadcoastallandtrust.org.
