Community Mediator Training
Join Humboldt Mediation Services for our training program and learn to be a mediator. March 2nd - April 24th - Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 - 7:00 PM + 1 Saturday session on 4/24 from 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM. A 27-hour, 8-week training that prepares participants for the phases of the Community Board mediation process including: • Case development • Communication of the conflict • Shared understanding & cooperation • Reaching & drafting agreements Gain hands-on experience to: • Facilitate effective discussion • Remain impartial • Deal with strong emotion • Build trust • Create workable agreements Base Registration $300 10% off for registration before February 1 10% off for Students & Seniors 10% off if you sign up with a friend 10% off if you volunteer for 10 hours Discounts are cumulative! Call our office to receive up to 3 10% discounts. Deposit: $50 (balance due before 3/2)
