City Hippie
Founded in 2017, City Hippie is a group of creatives who currently reside in Humboldt County. The group compels a harmonious vibe, in which, each artist is to be distinctly recognized. Dedication and ambition has led the group to further their talents beyond the redwoods and into the limelight. They have recently joined stages with top-tier artists such as Bhad Bhabie, Riff Raff, Blueface, Comethazine & many more at venues up & down the coast of California. Their latest release, “Love Ties,” surpassed 25K streams in the first month, drawing attention from publications up & down the west coast. City Hippie is next up and you don't want to be sleeping on the next big talent near you!
Spence Brown:
Spence Brown is a recording artist, producer, songwriter, audio engineer and multi-instrumentalist from Santa Rosa. Although originally born in New York as a kid he went from New York to Boston then Kansas City finally landing in California. His music is here to spread a positive message and find meaning in the good things in life. These different places all influenced Spence in a very different way.
While living in Missouri he started his foray into music with the cello at age 10. Later on in high school he would continue with cello and add on choir, we he learned singing technique. Fast forward to now and he is using everything he learned over the years to create the music you hear. He takes influences from Nas to Avenged Sevenfold to Simon and Garfunkel to M83, it can be described as a mix of Hip-Hop and Pop.
