Celebrate Constitution Week

Every year the Redwood Forest Chapter of the National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, celebrates Constitution Week from September 17th to the 23rd by placing a display in the Humboldt County Library main branch, 1313 Third Street, Eureka. This display can be found on the second floor in the Hagopian Art Gallery by the entrance to the Humboldt Room. Constitution Week was set aside by President Dwight D. Eisenhower in April of 1956, as a week for citizens to remember their history and appreciate and protect their freedoms, liberties and rights that the Constitution provides. Through the end of September and available for FREE on top of the display case are: Constitution and Flag Code booklets, informational pamphlets, bookmarks and more!
