Campaign Trailhead Workshop with Sofia Pereira
What would your community look like with YOU in elected office shaping its future? As women break records in Congress, we still need more women of all backgrounds in office, from school boards to city councils. Whether you want to run in 2019, 2020, or beyond, now’s the time to start charting your path to public service. Join other engaged and active women for a one-hour, introductory workshop on how to get ready for the campaign trail. This interactive workshop will help you identify the strengths and qualifications you already possess and should bring into politics. At the end of the workshop you’ll have a sharper sense of your next steps and all the resources out there to guide you. The workshop will be facilitated by Sofia Pereira, an expert in women’s political leadership, TEDx Speaker, and graduate of the Women’s Campaign School at Yale. Sofia’s work has reached thousands of women across the country through organizations like She Should Run.
