Call for Workshop Proposals at The Sanctuary

Are you an artist or maker? Have you ever considered teaching a workshop? Now is the time. The Sanctuary is currently seeking workshop proposals from local artists for an upcoming workshop series from July to October 2022. Workshop instructors receive a teaching stipend and a budget for instructional materials. The Sanctuary has lab facilities including printmaking, ceramics, textiles, small metals, book arts, woodworking, music recording, bicycle repair, culinary arts, gardening, homesteading, and more. A few examples of workshops include: Letterpress for poets, cyanotype photography, natural dyeing with local plants, mending and repairing garments, shadow puppet making, and screen printing on fabric. Please consider how your own creative practice has something unique to offer the community. The workshop series responds to 2 community needs: that of art education for adults and children at an accessible cost, and the need for more professional opportunities for working artists. The Sanctuary is dedicated to creative growth through artful living. We encourage people to teach, inspire and know each other. The deadline to turn in proposals will be May 29th by Midnight.
