Brooks and John both perform and teach each year at the Chet Atkins Appreciation Society convention in Nashville and this is where they connected and decided to team up.
The contrast of Brooks’ lightening quick licks and John’s beautiful, smooth playing is only the beginning of the magic. They have developed some truly great arrangements and a kind of performance synergy that goes beyond what either of them do individually.
