Beer and Bugs
Sample micro brews donated by Redwood Curtain Brewing Company while learning a bit about bugs and their kin from local experts Pete Haggard and Kim McFarland. Meet at the Humboldt Coastal Nature Center for an introduction and a short walk to collect insects. Afterwards return to the Nature Center for beer tasting and bug viewing. Participants are encouraged to bring their own mystery bugs for identification. Reservations required, space is limited. $10/person (Friends of the Dunes members receive a 20% discount).
