Artist Residency Showcase
Come experience the sights and sounds of our visiting February Sanctuary Artist Residents at the Artist Residence Showcase, February 18th at 8 p.m. at the Sanctuary. $10 - $25 sliding scale at the door. Visiting from Ithaca New York, Matthew Puleo and Jessie Gray weave electronic ambience and jazzy folk into a tapestry that draws inspiration from the natural world, the political climate and the spiritual realm. It’s ethereal, dark, and uplifting. From Portland Oregon, physical theatre artists Claire Rigsby and Keegan Kyle perform Palindrome Machines. Inspired by Pina Bausch’s Cafe Müller, The Viewpoints, and Mary Oliver, this performance seeks to explore the tension and resolve the contradictions that exist within ourselves.
