Lost Coast Ocean Health Talk
Are you curious about the health of the ocean along the Lost Coast and what you can do to help? Come learn more at a free talk by Dr. Dawn Goley on Saturday, October 5 at noon at Gyppo Ale Mill. Dr. Goley is the Director of the Marine Mammal Stranding Program, the Marine Mammal Education and Research Program and is a professor of Zoology at HSU. She and her students have conducted research on local marine mammals to better understand the biology, behavior and ecology of whales, sea lions and seals in the near and off-shore waters of northern California.
