Arcata Marsh & Wildlife Sanctuary Invasive Spartina Removal - Volunteer Work Day
Help beautify the Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary! On Saturday, July 11th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., volunteers are invited to help remove invasive spartina from the salt marshes of one of the City's premier open spaces. Meet at 9 a.m. at the Arcata Marsh Interpretive Center parking lot on South G Street. Gloves, tools, food and beverages will be provided. Be sure to wear work clothes and closed-toed shoes or boots.
