Arcata Bike to Work Day
May is Bike Month Humboldt so gear up for events planned throughout Humboldt County. On Thursday, May 11, Bike to Work Day will kick off in Arcata at the North Coast Co-op’s morning energizer station, where cyclists wearing helmets will get free hot drinks, snacks and bike tune-ups from 7 to 9 a.m. Then join the crowd on two wheels for a rally at noon on the Arcata Plaza. Meet fellow cyclists, join the Humboldt Bike Challenge, get a free bike tune-up, and show community support for the bicycle as a fun and inexpensive transportation choice.
