Annie and Mary Day Celebration
Blue Lake's 51st annual Annie & Mary Day Celebration begins with an 8 a.m. breakfast at the Grange. The always popular parade featuring dancers, music, quirky floats and horses starts at Mad River Brewery at 11 a.m. From noon-5p.m. the action continues at Perigot Park. Music sponsored by the Humboldt Folklife Society will feature the Brendas, Barnett, Belles of the Levee, Gatehouse Well and the Vanishing Pints. There will be barbecue and other foods, craft vendors, a bocce ball tournament, petting zoo, pony rides, fire truck rides and a car show. Mad River micro-brews, Jewell Distillery Gin and wine will be available for purchase. This is a family fun free event.
