Come and learn about Luna the iconic redwood that helped bring awareness to unhealthy logging practices. Twenty years have passed since Julia Butterfly Hill's tree sit brought world wide attention to a redwood named Luna. Shortly after her decent a vandal's chainsaw failed to bring an end to Luna. Today she is healthy, continues to be a symbol of sustainability and the world continues telling her story. Sanctuary Forest will have a table at the lecture. Parking is limited.
